Zuniga Sets Up ‘The Scene’
Those resourceful insiders at the Hollywood Reporter have learned that former Melrose Place actress Daphne Zuniga is going to star in and produce The Scene for Kanbar Entertainment.
A satire of the Manhattan party circuit and entertainment industry, the film will have Zuniga play a cynical TV talk show producer who encounters a chameleon-like social climber played by Heather Gordon. Other cast members include Stephen Barker Turner and David Wilson Barnes.
The script has been adapted by Theresa Rebeck from her own play; it is being directed by Amy Glazer, who also produces it along with Lynn Webb and Ned Kopp.
ZUNIGA ACTS IN “THE SCENE”
Daphne Zuniga is set to star in and produce “The Scene” for Kanbar Entertainment, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In this vicious satire of the Manhattan party circuit and entertainment industry, Zuniga plays a cynical TV talk show producer who encounters a chameleon-like social climber (Heather Gordon).
Stephen Barker Turner and David Wilson Barnes also star. Theresa Rebeck (”Gossip”) adapted the script from her play.
Amy Glazer is directing and producing along with Lynn Webb, Ned Kopp and Zuniga. Filming will take place in San Fransisco.
